Convention FAQ
A: Anime Fiesta is a pop-culture fan convention celebrating the vibrant world of anime, manga, and the rich traditions of Chinese and Japanese cultures.
A: Nian Chan, our first mascot, is known for her silver hair and lively personality. Hua Chan, our second mascot, has blue flowing hair and exudes a sense of calm and nobility. They are the best of friends.
A: Anime Fiesta Gakuensai will be held on July13-14,2024 . Anime Fiesta Spring Fest TBD Convention is scheduled for January 25-26, 2025.
A: Everyone is welcome to attend, especially those who are curious about or enjoy Anime, Cosplay, Comic books, or Gaming. Friends and family are also encouraged to join, as long as they are registered!
A: Yes, it is. Various activities are available for new and veteran otakus, including programming for younger fans! However, purchasing adult merchandise requires ID verification.
A: You can dress up as anyone you want! Most people choose characters from anime or manga series, but creative cosplays are also welcome. However, costumes must not contain discriminatory elements.
A: Most booths can accept debit/credit card, but we strongly recommend bringing cash. For example, haunted houses may only accept cash, as well as some food vendors outside. While ATMs are available on-site, having cash on hand can help avoid any inconvenience.

A: Gakuensai single pass $15, two day pass $25, Spring Fest convention TBD
A: Online purchases must use a credit card (Visa, MasterCard ). If onsite tickets are still available, they can be purchased with cash. *No Credit Card gift cards are accepted online.
A: All ticket sales are final. No refund or exchange will be issued.
A: At the end of your online transaction, your eTicket(QR Code)We will scan those in when you arrive at the venue.
A: Yes. Scanning stations will include a scanner for mobile phones.
A: If you do not see the confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes, emails may be filtered there by mistake. If you still cannot find the email, please contact us at animefiesta.ca@gmail.com for assistance.
A: This is not a problem. Tickets can be given to anyone for redemption, but only one unique ticket can be given per person. If there are duplicate tickets at an event, the ticket holder may be denied admission.
A: Yes! Children under 5 years of age are admitted free.
Volunteer FAQ
A: You don't need to purchase a pass. Once you're accepted, you'll receive a two-day pass as a reward.
A: Yes. Volunteers can work for as many or as little hours as they want. Before being scheduled, all volunteers will be asked how many hours they would like to volunteer for.
A: Of course! While we recommend volunteering for fewer hours to allow you more time to explore the convention, we're always delighted to welcome new volunteers, even those who are new to conventions.

A: We will be the week after the event, please send in your volunteer form to animefiesta.ca@gmail.com and we will help you fill it out as soon as possible!
A: The most common task is line management and crowd control, which applies to all areas such as registration, workshop, food area, Photo area, etc. Other tasks include checking, attaching bracelets.In rarer cases, you may be asked to assist with the accessibility table or the props check table. Rest assured, you will never be forced to do a task you are uncomfortable with or incompatible with due to a visible or invisible disability.
Exhibitors FAQ
A: Unfortunately, we do not provide any parking spaces for visitors and sponsors, is near residential area with very limit public parking available However, we will allow vendors to set up at the venue on July 11-12.
A: You can register online.
A: Retailers/artists cannot sell child pornography, weapons that are illegal under Canadian law, pirated materials, or artwork that is not authorized for sale by the creator.
A: Each retailer space 6x6 ft includes two free tickets that provide access to the venue and the whole convention. Each dealer space includes one table and two chairs and wifi (table clothes not included).
A: We welcome all dealers to apply, new or recurring. For new dealers, please send us an email at animefiesta.ca@gmail.com with a few pictures of your merchandise or a link to your website for us to review. Once we have approved, you will be added to our mailing list. We will then notify you when it is time to apply and send you the contracts to fill out. Once filled out, you can scan them and email them to us, or mail them to us (please note that this will take more time before we receive it). We accept dealers on a first-come, first-served basis.
A: Yes, but the dimensions of your booth must respect the dimensions of a dealer space (6x6. ft).
A: Please pick them up and throw them away in the garbage bin . All boxes need to be flattened down . Anime Fiesta reserves the right to fine any exhibitor who leaves an excessive amount of garbage.
A: If you encounter any issues during the convention, please talk to any Dealers' Area staff member or volunteer. They will be wearing the Anime Fiesta badge and walking around the Exhibition Hall during the convention. We will also have an information booth; you can report any incidents to the staff there.
