Please take the time to familiarize yourself with all rules before attending our event. Anime Fiesta reserves the right to ask anyone to leave in case of any violation. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we kindly request all attendees to adhere to the following rules. Thank you for your cooperation.

Admission
- Your wristband will serve as your entry pass, so please do not remove it during the convention. If you wish to re-enter after leaving, simply show your wristband to the staff for re-entry
- If you lose your wristband, you must present a government-issued ID matching the name provided, along with the QR code. A replacement fee of $10 cash is required for lost wristbands. Please inform the staff at the main entrance if you lose your wristband. Therefore, please ensure you keep your wristband secure
- Anime Fiesta reserves the right to refuse replacement wristband sales. Admission to the convention may be refused or revoked at any time, for any reason.
- Children aged 13 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Parents and guardians are responsible for the behavior of children under their supervision
- By Accepting their wristband the wearer agrees to abide by all convention policies of Anime Fiesta.
- If you arrive early, please queue up orderly at the entrance and avoid any dangerous actions such as overcrowding or pushing. Thank you for your cooperation
The convention hours are as follows:
- Saturday, July 6th: 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM,
- 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM (After Party-Anime Live house)
- Sunday, July 7th: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Public Safety
Violence, stalking, harassment, hate speech, or any other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Offenders will be removed from the convention, and if necessary, law enforcement will be involved.
*Not Allowed:
- Line jumping, pushing, horseplay, or rudeness towards convention staff.
- Weapons, drugs, fireworks, flammable liquids.
- Any written messages, slogans, or gestures containing discriminatory content.
- Smoking is prohibited both indoors and outdoors, including electronic cigarettes.
- Alcohol not purchased from the venue. The legal drinking age in Ontario is 19.
- Water guns, laser pointers, metal props. *All other props must be approved by the Weapons Master.
- Glomping, extremely noisy props, or any activities or items that may startle or cause injury.
- Hoverboards and other powered wheeled items, except for medical assistive devices.
Accessibility Policy
- Anime Fiesta is committed to providing an equal and accessible environment for attendees with physical, mental, sensory, or other permanent or temporary disabilities. If you require assistance, please inform our staff or volunteer team immediately, and they will guide you to the designated disability space.
Ways Everyone Can Help:
- Allow those using wheelchairs/other mobility devices to have first access to elevators.
- Avoid heavily scented personal products
Code of Conduct
Everyone attending Anime Fiesta should feel comfortable and safe. "No" means no, and "Go away" means leave immediately and do not return.
- Intentionally touching anyone without their consent is considered assault. Asking for permission before engaging in physical contact, such as "glomping" or offering "free hugs," is necessary.
- Do not touch individuals who appear to be transgender or crossplaying to inquire about their physical attributes.
- Pressuring or bribing individuals to engage in public displays of affection (PDAs), regardless of gender, is considered harassment.
- Harassment includes unwanted talking, touching, or photographing, lingering around someone who has asked you to leave, and behaving in a gross or threatening manner to ruin someone's convention experience.
Smoking Policy
- Smoking (tobacco or cannabis) and vaping (with or without nicotine) not allowed in any convention space.
- All venues prohibit smoking and vaping indoors or near entrances and exits.
- Individuals exhibiting severe misconduct will be escorted out of the event premises, while those displaying egregious behavior will be reported to the authorities.
Vendors
- Only vendors with contracts from Anime Fiesta are permitted to conduct sales within convention spaces, including the Vendor Hall, Artist Alley, Food Area, and other exhibitor areas.
- Sales in parking lots or from private hotel rooms are not permitted. Items banned for sale, such as swords, knives, metal props, must be wrapped.
- Government-issued ID is required to view or purchase 18+ merchandise or art.
- Panhandling is prohibited by local bylaws and will not be allowed in convention spaces.
- Anime Fiesta is not responsible for mediating disputes between vendors and dissatisfied customers. Always request a receipt.
Cosplay Guidelines
Costumes worn at Anime Fiesta must adhere to the following rules, or the wearer may be asked to cover up or leave the convention:
- Nudity is not permitted, and opaque bodysuits that simulate nudity are prohibited if they are overly accurate.
- Costume elements that may be disturbing or offensive to others are not allowed.
- Fetish costume elements such as chains or handcuffs that may pose a safety hazard to the wearer or others must be removed.
- Individuals wearing bulky costumes, those that restrict vision or movement, or present other safety concerns should travel with an escort in high-traffic areas. If no escort is available, you may be asked to remove and safely carry the portions of your costume causing concern.
Weapons & Large Props
- All weapons or large props must be inspected by staff upon entry. Once cleared, a sticker indicating that the props are non-threatening will be affixed, allowing entry.
- Live firearms, weapons prohibited by Canadian law, replicas of contemporary firearms, projectile weapons, props made of metal, are prohibited at Anime Fiesta.
- All weapons must be holstered, sheathed, or slung except when posing for photos. All props must be carried safely and under your control.
- Horseplay, careless or unsafe use of props, drawing of weapons, or the use of props to threaten individuals or disrupt the peace of the convention will not be tolerated.
- For public safety, convention staff have the right to inspect any prop or weapon upon request and take necessary action.
Animal
- Service animals are welcome everywhere as required by Ontario law.
- Pets, including dogs, cats, birds, small animals, and exotic animals, are not permitted inside venue.
For the safety and well-being of all attendees, both human and animal, we kindly request that you leave your pets at home.
