Volunteer FAQs

Uniform Provision:

  • All volunteers will receive an official AnimeFiesta crew T-shirt (must be worn at all times during shifts).
  • Costumes permitted but must visibly display crew T-shirt.
  • All cosplay outfits require prior approval (must not impede duties).

Important Notes:

  1. Volunteers are responsible for complying with this dress code.
  2. Special events may have additional requirements - confirm with your supervisor.
  3. Safety-sensitive roles may require specific protective gear.

No - all volunteers receive:

  • Single-day access for each day worked.
  • Setup crew working Friday receive one-day access (choose your preferred day).

Example:

  • Volunteer Saturday = Saturday admission
  • Volunteer Saturday & Sunday = Weekend admission
  • Friday setup crew = Choose Saturday OR Sunday access

The minimum age to volunteer is 14 years old.

The venue offers ample parking facilities nearby. However, parking/transportation fees are not covered by the event.

When completing the volunteer application, you can select which teams you are most interested in joining. We will always try to place you with your number 1 team choice! However, we may need to place crew members in different areas of the show based on availability.

We highly value every volunteer's preferences and will prioritize your requested areas of interest during assignments. However, please understand we cannot guarantee:
  • Team placement with friends
  • Assignments are based on individual skills/experience
  • Some roles require specialized qualifications
  • First-choice positions: while we accommodate 89% of first requests, critical event needs may require alternative placements
