Transportation
To reach 5183 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1B 5Z5, which is the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCCGT), you can use a variety of public transportation options. Here’s how to get there:
By Subway (TTC):
- Scarborough Subway Line:
- Take the Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) subway towards Kennedy Station.
- At Kennedy Station, transfer to the Scarborough Rapid Transit Line (Line 3).
- Get off at McCowan Station (the closest subway station to the venue).
- From McCowan Station, take a bus or a taxi to the venue, which is about a 10-minute drive.
By Bus (TTC):
- From Kennedy Station, you can take a TTC bus directly to the Chinese Cultural Centre.
- Bus #133 (Neilson) or Bus #34 (Eglinton East) will get you close to the venue.
- Alternatively, you can take Bus #85 (Sheppard East) which stops near the event venue.
- From Scarborough Town Centre:
- You can also take Bus #85 (Sheppard East) directly east towards the venue. The stop is very close to the Chinese Cultural Centre.
By GO Transit:
- From Union Station (downtown Toronto):
- Take the GO Train (Lakeshore East line) towards Oshawa.
- Get off at Guildwood Station (this station is just a few stops from Union).
- From Guildwood Station, take Bus #86A (Scarborough) or 86D to the venue or transfer to another local bus.
By Car (Driving):
- If you are driving, the Chinese Cultural Centre is accessible from Sheppard Ave E and is near major highways such as Highway 401.
- There is ample parking available on-site.
